The aim of the research is to understand the role of learning and memory in decision-making. We investigate these questions using large-scale online experiments, in-lab behavioral studies, and neuroimaging (MEG) experiments. The candidate will help conduct in-person and online behavioral experiments with the potential for assistance in imaging experiments, and receive training in cognitive neuroscience and computational methods.
The Max Planck Centre (www.mps-ucl-centre.mpg.de) has a number of exciting related research groups that provide a stimulating intellectual environment. We are part of the Wellcome Centre for Human Neuroimaging (www.fil.ion.ucl.ac.uk), within the UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology, a world-class research environment.
Applicants should have (or be close to obtaining) a BA/BS in a discipline such as neuroscience, psychology, computer science or similar. Experience with psychology or neuroscience experimental data collection, proficiency with computer programming, and strong interpersonal skills are strongly preferred.
Please contact Elliott Wimmer ([log in to unmask]) prior to application. Review of applications is rolling, so we suggest contacting the PI as soon as possible.
