Two part-time posts going at the University of Glasgow for Glasgow as a Living Lab Accelerating Novel Transformation (GALLANT) project
Are you interested in supporting research around sustainability on a high-profile and innovative large grant? Or do you know someone who may like one of these posts? Please think about applying and circulating widely! If you have any questions, please contact Sarah Currier, GALLANT Programme Manager.
Two half-time roles are now available on the GALLANT Programme (0.5 FTE; 17.5 hours/week), funded until 30th January 2027. The salary range is MPA Grade 7: £36,382 - £40,927 pro-rata. Closing date: 6th July 2022.
Both roles represent exciting opportunities to make a leading contribution to the University of Glasgow’s UKRI-NERC-funded £10.2 million programme ‘GALLANT – Glasgow as a Living Lab Accelerating Novel Transformation’, which is in partnership with Glasgow City Council. GALLANT is trialling new sustainable solutions to the city’s key environmental challenges, providing a whole-systems approach that considers the impacts of the programme’s interventions on policy, public health, wellbeing, and the economy. GALLANT aims to deliver the social priorities of the UN Sustainable Development Goals while remaining within the planetary boundaries of a 1.5°C world, using doughnut economics as a framework.
GALLANT Communications Coordinator:
The post-holder will coordinate external communications and advise work package and workstream teams on their individual communications plans. They will work alongside central University, College-level and UKRI-NERC communications, marketing and social media teams.
GALLANT Monitoring & Evaluation Coordinator:
The post-holder will coordinate strategic planning and progression of monitoring and evaluation throughout GALLANT’s five-year lifecycle. The programme’s place-based approach requires co-production and co-evaluation with local communities and other stakeholders, enabling continuous learning to be applied to the programme’s development.
Kind regards,
Ria
