[apologies for cross posting]
One of the aims of the CHIME network is to bring together and support the geographically distributed community of researchers in *Music, HCI and Interaction* — particularly, but not exclusively, PhDs and early career researchers.
We’re looking to create a bulletin-board like page that will provide a hub for other researchers in the area to find your work, and to connect you with others and the community. Please feel free to circulate this message in your own networks (e.g. academic institution or other relevant mailing list).
If you are interested, please could you send us the following (to [log in to unmask] and [log in to unmask], with subject heading “CHIME Bulletin Board”):
A (working) title or heading
A brief provisional abstract, or outline of your area(s) of interest (max. 150 words)
Contact information for yourself that would allow an interested researcher to get in touch (web link, email, social media account, etc)
Any other notes, for example any areas of training that might be helpful for your work, but may be hard to access locally or online. This would not be for publication, but to assist us in planning network training activities. This could also help us to let you know if we run relevant training events, or for inviting you to present as part of our ongoing regular seminar series.
Only the title, abstract and (optionally) contact information will be added to the bulletin board page on the chime.ac.uk website.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
Best
Tom Mudd and Simon Holland
