Dear BAFTSS subscribers, colleagues and friends,
the **2022 Scottish International Film Education Conference** will take
place online next week!
The event will run **from Thursday 16th to Friday 17th June.**
The programme includes diverse perspectives on film education from
around the world, and from a variety of roles within the process:
class-room teachers, filmmakers, policy-makers and academics.
This year's highlights include talks with famed film directors (John
Sayles, Michelangelo Frammartino, Mike Figgis) as well as round-tables
with educators who use film in school and community settings.
The conference is free to attend. You can check the full programme and
book your place through Eventbrite at this address:

We particularly welcome bookings from both primary and secondary
teachers who are keen to explore how film can inform and enhance their
teaching practice.
(apologies for the reposting. The first message didn't seem to go
through to the list)
