Senior Data Scientist - Local Land Charges, HM Land Registry, UK Wide
We are now looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our Digital, Data and Technology team.
We are currently growing our Data Science Capability. By joining us, you will become a founding member of our Data Science Practice, part of our award-winning Digital, Data and Technology Directorate which is at the heart of the move to a digital, data-driven organisation.
Our ambitions are to provide our users with cutting-edge digital services and data products. You will help enable this ambition by providing thought leadership to develop our Practice, and the practical skills, expertise and experience in Data Science to help us apply new tools, technologies and methodologies for Machine Learning, data exploration and insight generation.
Job description
As a skilled, enthusiastic, and motivated individual with strong Data Science skills you will co-lead teams as part of the Data Science Team on the Local Land Charges (LLC) Programme. You will be expected to use your technical and analytical expertise to produce and deliver innovative Data Science solutions, linked to programme requirements and user needs. You will be providing support and guidance to teams of Subject Matter Experts, collaborating to identify complex business problems within the programme, and consult with project teams to ensure successful integration and delivery of wide variety of Data Science solutions.
You will work as key member of the Local Land Charges team within the Data Science Practice to co-lead design, development and delivery of Data Science solutions. Activities may include problem discovery, research and development of new technologies and techniques, prototyping and implementing pre-Discovery solutions, and supporting the on-going improvement and maintenance of Machine Learning solutions in production.
