We'll discuss 'The Kept and the Killed' from the always interesting 
Public Domain Review. The writer, Erica Eisen, looks at the history of 
hundreds of thousands of photographs commissioned by the US Farm 
Security Administration to document the Great Depression. Some of the 
'kept' photographs are well known, but just as fascinating is the story 
of the ones that were 'killed' (and then 'kept'). It's a short read, and 
it would likely spark a variety of questions.
