Hi all,
For anyone who has introduced or traditionally used pass/fail on a large scale (e.g. for all modules at a whole stage like Level 4), how have you managed your regulations if they have included compensation at module level (e.g. modules obtaining 30-39 could be credited without meeting the pass mark as long as certain criteria around module volume, overall stage marks are met). We have a course thinking of changing to pass/fail at L3/4 as part of a strategy to change student engagement with learning and assessment but this doesn't work with our current regulations and I am concerned about any impact around progression.
Happy to collate responses if it is useful. Thanks in advance for your help.
Best,
Joshua
