Hello,
I conducted VBM analysis using CAT12 on a group of infants and children aged from 6 months to 4 years old. I replaced the default TPM and Dartel template with the ones that are generated by Cerebromatic toolbox. Since the youngest template that can be generated by the toolbox is 13 months, I used the 13-month-old one.
I found the segmentation problematic for most of my subjects. The peripheral area of gray matter was identified as white matter. Please check the following link to see one subject's white matter image in the native space.

This problem cannot be solved by adjusting the level of bias correction, denoising, or changing the approach of skull stripping...
I wonder how to improve the segmentation for my situation? Thank you.
Best,
Di Yuan
