Postdoc position in learning, memory, & decision within computational psychiatry @UCL!
We are looking for a motivated postdoc to join our growing research group at the Max Planck UCL Centre for Computational Psychiatry & Ageing Research (https://lmdlab.github.io/).
(FYI, we are also looking to hire a Research Assistant.)
The postdoc position is funded by the UK MRC for projects in the area of feedback learning, memory, and goal-directed decision-making, and the modulating role of mood and depression.

The Centre (www.mps-ucl-centre.mpg.de) has a number of exciting related research groups that provide a stimulating environment. We are also part of the Wellcome Centre for Human Neuroimaging (www.fil.ion.ucl.ac.uk), within the UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology, a world-class research environment.
The overarching aim of the project is to understand the role of memory in goal-directed decision-making. Using a transdiagnostic approach, we also aim to investigate the influence of mood and depression on decision-making. We investigate these questions using large-scale online experiments, in-lab behavioral studies, and neuroimaging (MEG) experiments. As part of this project, the candidate will design and conduct new experiments, with analyses focusing on computational modelling of learning as well as multivariate neuroimaging analyses.
Applicants should have (or be close to obtaining) a PhD in a discipline such as computational, cognitive, or behavioural neuroscience, psychology, computer science or similar. Experience with computational modelling of behavioural data and with representational (decoding) approaches to human neuroimaging data is beneficial.
