“The Role of Women in Prehistoric and Tribal Societies”
has just appeared, a book concerning women, therefore men as well.
Sixteen authors take us through different ages and societies for a journey
to traditional and ancient habits related to women, in different conditions
and different societies, as recorded by prehistoric and tribal art, from
Azerbaijan to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, to India, Arabia, the Sahara,
Italy, France, over to the USA and then to Brazil: different customs in
different times provide a broad and significant landscape on the role of
women, a topic as actual today as it has always been in the past.
