Hello again and apologies for cross-posting!
As you might have seen, the Digital Learning Network (DLNET)<http://digitallearningnetwork.net/> runs a regular Twitter live chat, and it is back again on Friday 4 March, at 1.00pm; see the hashtag #DLNETChat<https://twitter.com/search?f=tweets&vertical=default&q=%23DLNETChat&src=tyah>.
This month is the first in a new series! We will be looking at Equality, Diversity and Inclusion-related topics and how they relate to digital learning.
This month's topic is looking at how digital can support cultural organisations when working with marginalised communities and minority histories. So if you have any thoughts, or if you just want to find out more, we'd love you to join us.
We have prepared a few items to get you thinking in advance of Friday...
Twitter thread: https://twitter.com/DLNET/status/1499065874124320770
Poll (in the thread): https://twitter.com/DLNET/status/1499065880445075467
Blog post (mentioned in the thread): https://www.digitallearningnetwork.net/news-blog/dlnet-chat-march-4-including-minority-histories-in-your-museum-display/
Please do have a look, and let us know what you think.
During the chat, some of the questions we might ask - although we can't promise to answer any of them:
* How do you go about finding out who to work with and how to make contact?
* What sort of topics will work with new communities and with established audiences?
* What resources are there available to help us with this work?
* What sort of considerations should be made with how we work with new communities in this way?
* How do we keep connections and maintain an important legacy after a project?
Please do join us to let us know your thoughts, ask the questions that you want the answers to, or just to see what everyone else is saying - although please remember that we definitely can't promise to know any answers.
Remember to use the hashtag #DLNETChat<https://twitter.com/search?f=tweets&vertical=default&q=%23DLNETChat&src=tyah> and to keep an eye on the @DLNET<https://twitter.com/DLNET> Twitter account for more details...
Also, if anybody has any suggestions of topics or questions for future Twitter live chats, please get in touch...
With best wishes,
Stuart
