Hi everyone,
Following on from the success of the ‘Listening in the Disciplines’ event that we ran in 2021, we have had requests for a similar event to be held again. In response to this, we will be holding a second ‘Listening in the Disciplines’ event on Friday 27th May 2022 from 15:00-16:30 (UK time) via Zoom. This event will have a slightly broader range of themes than previous event. These are:
Teaching of listening to a discipline-specific group / on a discipline-specific programme
Testing of listening with a discipline-specific group / on a discipline-specific programme
Theory/Scholarship/Research related to the teaching or testing of listening with students in a specific discipline area.
While the format of the event will depend on how many presenters we have, we expect that presentations will be about 10 minutes long with time for questions and discussions after the presentations.
If you would like to present at this event, please complete this short form. We will then be in touch with you as soon as we can: https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=qO3qvR3IzkWGPlIypTW3y5AXdQxkTuRIo15U116a8e1UMU9QWktSWFZQMVlRVlc2MDZSS0lWSFFaVC4u
Take care
