This training course from Christina Silver will add power and sophistication to your evidence reviews.
‘Undertaking Evidence Reviews using MAXQDA’ unlocks the tools to speed up the process of capturing, appraising and synthesising evidence, and communicating findings, statistically or thematically as required.
It’s a hands-on course with at most 14 participants. Common tasks are undertaken and discussed as a group, and you’ll be guided through practical exercises using sample data. You can also set up an analysis using your own materials, with support from Christina. The examples come from various types of evidence review, to illustrate the flexibility of software tools, and help you think creatively about options.
MAXQDA software has been widely adopted in social research organisations. It is simple to use, yet incredibly powerful. And you don’t need to buy the software to take the course – we’ll give you an extended free trial version, which you can use after the course as well. And the techniques you’ll learn in this course are also transferrable to other software, including Nvivo.
Christina Silver is a widely respected researcher and teacher of qualitative data analysis methods and software, specializing in all the major tools. Come and gain new skills on 14 & 15 March (two afternoons), for £165 (SRA members) or £220 (non-members).
