Colleagues from Special Collections at the University of Leeds are hosting a special event to mark the start of a year-long programme of activity celebrating the Brotherton Collection. Please do join us!
On 9 February 1922 Lord Brotherton of Wakefield bought the rare book of poetry that was to become the first volume in the Brotherton Collection. This collection of rare books and manuscripts is one of the most important and extensive to be established in England during the first half of the twentieth century. Hear more about the man and his extraordinary legacy at this free online event.
