Who says there is no ‘I’ in team?
All teams are actually made up of a collection of ‘I’s! The secret to an effective working team is for each one to understand both their own way of thinking & working and the natural ways for each other team member. Then everyone can adapt, flex and understand why differences arise and how to best handle them.
This course uses the Jigsaw Discovery Tool© to help you understand yourself and other team members so that you can develop best ways of working together and becoming a really effective team.
About the facilitator:
This course is led by Carol Brooks who has been involved in management and leadership of libraries for over 40 years. Having been an operational manager in three local authorities and an officer in the Territorial Army, she has a vast range of experience. Carol is passionate about learning and feels very strongly that understanding how you think & respond, and how others do, can make your working life so much more effective.
This course is designed to give anyone a good start in working with teams and, even if you are a good few years into team working, this course will you get your work life back in balance.
