Knowledge Organization Education (KOED) "Exploring Information
Retrieval" (https://www.iskouk.org/page-18260) is a series of lectures
taking place on Thursdays in February and March 2022. The series
provides an introduction to the Information Retrieval and an up-to-date
overview of some fundamental concepts, techniques and applications. With
this programme of talks ISKO UK and IRSG BCS aim to emphasise the
central role of IR in all aspects of information work. It is aimed at
information professionals who would like to refresh their knowledge as
well as to researchers/students of any field in which IR plays a
significant role. Speakers include university lecturers, textbook
authors, researchers, all renowned experts in the field of Information
Retrieval.
