We are seeking to appoint two enthusiastic and talented statisticians at either
MSc (Grade 6A £31,406-£33,309) or PhD (Grade 7 £34,304-£42,149) level
to work on the design and analysis of projects within the research programmes of the School of Medicine, with a particular focus on clinical trial methodology, observational cohort studies and/or big data.
You will have an MSc or PhD in biostatistics, medical statistics, applied statistics or other related subject with a substantial quantitative component. You will also have experience in applied health research and be competent in R and/or Stata.
These are full-time, two year fixed-term positions, in the first instance, with salary dependent on qualifications and experience. You will join the vibrant Biostatistics Group comprising 20 statisticians based in the School of Medicine and have opportunities to teach in addition to working on a range of grant funded studies, mainly in primary care.
