Hello everyone,
Our Emergency Department are looking to reduce the number of blood gases they perform as they currently perform a blood gas for every patient that comes through the door. After having a discussion with the consultant who is looking to lead this project, I said I would ask around to see how other Trusts triage whether a patient in ED needs a blood gas.
Are you aware of the protocol within your Trust? Do you have any triage tools you are able to send to me as an example?
Thank you in advance!
Kind regards,
Abigail Davis
