Dear all,
Happy New Year!
With reference to PGT programmes and the set of rules you follow to determine a student's overall/final outcome (Pass, Merit or Distinction) do you have a 'boundary' rule in place? If so, could you please let me know what it is, when you introduced it and what the rationale was?
As an example, a boundary rule could be: a student who obtains an overall mark within 2% of the Merit boundary and achieves a specified number of credits in the Distinction category would be awarded a Pass with Distinction.
