With apologies for cross posting.
We would like to invite early-career researchers and PhD students to apply as YECREA representatives!
YECREA is the Young Scholars' Network of the European Communication Research and Education Association (ECREA<https://ecrea.eu/>). YECREA's main objectives are to give a voice to early-career scholars within ECREA and to provide them with an international network. Each thematic section of ECREA has a management team comprised of three senior scholars and one early-career researcher, elected as a YECREA representative. If you would like to collaborate with the Association in this capacity, this is your chance!
Being a YECREA representative is a great opportunity to learn how a big scholarly association like ECREA works, as well as one to network with more senior researchers in your field. There are currently 16 vacant positions for the following sections, networks and temporary working groups:
* Audience and Reception Studies
* Children, Youth and Media
* Communication and Democracy
* Communication Law and Policy
* Diaspora, Migration and the Media
* Digital Culture and Communication
* Media Industries and Cultural Production
* Mediatization
* Organisational and Strategic Communication
* Political Communication
* Television Studies
* Central and East-European Network
* Women's Network
* Affect, Emotion and Media
* Ethics of Mediated Suffering
* Journalism and Communication Education
More details on how to apply can be found here: http://yecrea.eu/2021/11/17/call-for-yecrea-representatives-2021/
More information about the sections, networks and temporary working groups can be found here: https://ecrea.eu/Sections
