Hello everyone,
A 3-yr fully-funded PhD studentship in the history or heritage of deindustrialisation has just been advertised by Swansea University, UK.
https://www.swansea.ac.uk/postgraduate/scholarships/research/history-depot-phd-2022-rs33.php
The studentship is funded by Swansea University and DePOT (Deindustrialization and the Politics of our Time). DePOT is a SSHRC Canadian funded transnational project that is examining the historical roots and lived experience of deindustrialization as well as the political responses to it.
https://deindustrialization.org/
The student will become a member of the DePOT consortium (7 countries, 33 partner organisations) and a member of CHART, Swansea University's new Centre for Heritage Research and Training.
The deadline is Jan 19.
Please do circulate to any students who may be interested in applying. I'm happy to receive enquiries from prospective applicants.
