Re: SPECIAL ISSUE of the Electronic Journal of Knowledge Management “A Brave Post-Covid World: Knowledge management for the societal and economic challenges of the post-pandemic era”
We are pleased to announce a special issue of EJKM (www.ejkm.com ) focusing on original studies that examine the lessons for KM models, processes, and approaches that can be drawn from the challenges brought about by the pandemic, and the reactions of humanity to this dramatic and previously unexperienced situation. Ideas, models, and lessons-learnt that anticipate the post-COVID world, rationalize the lessons for KM that we are drawing from the current experience, and how we can use it for making a better future are welcome. Analysis of the implications for researchers, business managers and policy makers will be welcome. Rather than studies which simply describe what has happened during the COVID pandemic, we are looking for qualitative, quantitative, and conceptual analysis that help us to foresee the future applications of KM and its potential usefulness in the “brave post-COVID world” that will (or may) emerge.
Potential topics include but are not limited to:
- Lessons for KM in health services and for medical research
- KM perspectives for teleworking and working from home
- Distant education: processes, methods, technologies and KM implications
- New emerging models of KM in the “world of the future”
- Managing logistics, manufacturing, and selling online: from big data to big knowledge
- Entertainment of the future and creative sectors: what COVID is teaching us in terms of knowledge creation and sharing
- Knowledge strategies for the post-COVID future
Deadline for submission of full papers is 15th February 2022
