Hey Will.
I hope you’re well. Thanks for the notification for the ECR platinum symposium. It’s a really great initiative and I hope you’re having good response.
I’m wondering if you have thought of seeking sponsorship? I’m sure IAGOD could spare £500 or so if you ask nicely ;-) Especially if you say the funds will be used as fee waivers to support students from developing countries. All IAGOD would need in return would be to get their logo on your promotional materials (website, programme, abstract volume), and a brief report after the symposium on what the funds were used for. In return, IAGOD can promote your meeting through our channels of communication, and we can also offer page space in Elements for a short report with meeting highlights and a photo. Wouldn’t that be a great way to increase the impact of an ECR focused meeting? What do you think?
Cheers, Jens
