Subject: AHRC Peer Review College Recruitment
Dear all
The Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) recently launched a new recruitment opportunity for our Peer Review College.
Earlier in 2021, we launched an Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) statement and action plan (https://ahrc.ukri.org/funding/equality-diversity-and-inclusion/) with a commitment to ensure that EDI is embedded both at all levels of our organisation and in the portfolio of research that we fund and support. A key objective of this recruitment exercise is to further diversity our membership and cement plurality of voices in our decision-making processes.
Applications across our disciplinary remit are strongly encouraged from persons who identify as an ethnic minority, persons with disabilities, persons of diverse gender identities and expressions, and persons identifying with other groups who are currently underrepresented.
Applications are also encouraged from people with specific arts and humanities-relevant professional experience and expertise that is currently underrepresented on our College; a full list can be found in the call document.
Further details, including the call document and SurveyMonkey application form, can be found on our website: https://ahrc.ukri.org/peerreview/
I would be grateful if you would distribute this link amongst arts and humanities researchers within your institution. Please do encourage your colleagues to apply. If they have any questions, the PRC team will be happy to answer at [log in to unmask] <mailto:[log in to unmask]>
The deadline for applications is 4pm, Thursday 25th November 2021.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> if you have any questions.
All the best
Thomas
Senior Investment Manager, AHRC
