The UCML (University Council of Modern Languages: https://university-council-modern-languages.org/) Early Career Academics Special Interest Group kindly invites you to join us for a monthly coffee morning chat from 10.30 to 11.30 (GMT)! UCML is a unifying voice for Modern Languages in the UK, and we are a small section of the organisation with the sole purpose of supporting Early Career Academics in any shape or form. All coffee sessions will take place on Zoom and participants can join for a short time in between classes, for a break from research, or for the full hour. It will be an opportunity for ECAs to meet and create a network informally. While primarily aimed at ECAs, the sessions are open to all postgraduates and colleagues!
This academic year, we will also have senior academic guests joining us for an informal chat. Our first guest will be Prof Emma Cayley, Head of School of Languages, Cultures and Societies, University of Leeds and UCML Chair.
