Hi all -
At the Research in Progress virtual meeting last Saturday I introduced some never-completed work I did in 1985 (36 years ago!), to try to reproduce the graphite morphology seen in some ancient Chinese malleable cast iron artefacts.
I have now put the report that I wrote on this work in 1986 on the web, prefaced by a lightly edited version of my presentation at the meeting:
http://donwagner.dk/graphite-morphology/graphite-morphology.html
I had some interesting results here, worth following up by someone. Maybe there is a bachelor's thesis here for a student who likes messing around in a laboratory.
Regards
Don
