The Opportunity
The School of Philosophy sits within the Faculty of Arts, this position will be working alongside Dr Linda Barclay on an ARC Grant called “Conferring Dignity in Law and Health Care”. The successful applicant will be assisting with the collection and analysis of qualitative data exploring how people in residential settings such as hospitals and aged care facilities understand and experience dignity.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
Conduct of research
Designing and undertaking qualitative research
The development of web-based educational material
Developing and maintaining relationships throughout the healthcare sector
Attending meetings associated with the research
The successful applicant will have a PhD in Philosophy or Social Sciences broadly conceived, with a focus on health care, dignity, disability or the patient experience.
This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
