East Dunbartonshire Leisure & Culture Trust is looking for people passionate about promoting culture and leisure to join its Board. 

There are two Board vacancies to work with current Board members to oversee the delivery of local culture and leisure services in East Dunbartonshire, with facilities including an archive, a museum, an art gallery, an arts centre, a town hall, 8 libraries, 3 leisure centres and a sports hub. 

Applicants should be knowledgeable in culture or leisure services and/or skilled in a profession or other capacity that would add value and support to the Board. 

On average successful candidates will serve on the Trust Board and Sub-Groups around 8 days per year with meetings of the Board taking place in the evening, normally in Kirkintilloch, although travel to other venues may be required on occasion. 

The appointment is initially for a fixed term of 2-3 years, with the possibility of re-appointment. Directors are voluntary, however they are entitled to receive costs incurred while serving including travel (in Scotland), subsistence and all reasonable expenses.
