Dear all,
The Media and Information Literacy Alliance (MILA) is pleased to announce the launch of its brand-new website, at https://mila.org.uk/, where you will find useful information about the Alliance and the rationale underpinning it. In particular, the site incorporates a draft of MILA’s media and information literacy Framework (https://mila.org.uk/news/mila-framework/), whose purpose is to demonstrate what media and information literacy means for people in everyday life and in various recognisable settings. The Framework is intended to illustrate media and information literacy in a way that people can relate to, and it is very much work in progress – so please do feel free to get back to me if you have any thoughts or comments about it.
The site is still at an early stage, and it will grow over the coming months. If you would like to be kept abreast of our developments, please join our mailing list by filling in the short form at https://mila.org.uk/how-you-can-get-involved/ . And please don’t hesitate to get back to me if you have any questions or suggestions.
Kind regards,
Stéphane Goldstein
