Spring 2022 Issue CFP
North Korean Review (NKR) would like to remind authors wishing to be considered for inclusion in our Spring 2022 issue to submit their manuscripts by December 15th, 2021. NKR covers all topics spanning the culture, history, economics, business, religion, politics and international relations of North Korea, among others. Practical studies as well as theoretical works, which contribute to a better understanding of North Korean issues, are also encouraged.
Articles should be submitted to [log in to unmask] and include four major sections: the title page, structured abstract, main body, and references. The title page should contain the title of the paper, the author(s) name, the institutional affiliation and keywords. Manuscripts should follow the NKR style guide available on our website by clicking "Submission Guidelines" below.
We publish research articles of up to 7,000 words and short papers, commentaries, and case studies of up to 4,000 words on historical or current North Korean economic, political, societal, and diplomatic affairs. Book reviews should be discussed in advance with the book review editor and be no longer than 1,000 words. Authors wishing to have their articles considered for publication in the Fall 2021 issue of NKR should send their submission to [log in to unmask] no later than December 15th. Extensions may be granted upon author request and editorial approval.
