Dear Socrel Postgrads,
This year's Socrel Response Day will take place at the University of Nottingham on November 12. If you teach, you study teaching, or you're planning to teach in the future, I hope you'll consider joining us!
Our keynote will be an interactive workshop by Dr Dawn Llewellyn (University of Chester), using the work of bell hooks to inspire a discussion of learning communities in the study of religion.
The event is open to teachers at all levels, from primary school to university and beyond.
The deadline for abstracts is September 30th. Please email me ([log in to unmask]) a 300-word description of your topic and a brief statement about yourself.

We are please to announce that 10 bursaries have been offered by the University of Nottingham to cover some of the cost of attending this event. Each bursary is worth £50, and we will prioritise students, early career researchers and RE teachers who are speaking at the event.
See you some of you in Nottingham!
