The Health Economics and Health Technology Assessment (HEHTA) Research Group (www.glasgow.ac.uk/hehta<http://www.glasgow.ac.uk/hehta>) is a fast-growing and vibrant team of multi-disciplinary researchers, who share common interests in the areas of health economics and health technology assessment. The assessment of health interventions is one of the key areas of activity within HEHTA; this includes undertaking evidence synthesis, economic and decision modelling, and economic analyses of clinical trial data.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Associate/Fellow to join our team to support/make a leading contribution to the Health Technology Assessment (HTA) case studies within the Living Laboratory for Precision Medicine (https://www.gla.ac.uk/colleges/mvls/livinglab/); a current example of such a case study is the development and evaluation of a multi-omic risk stratification tool for the prevention bowel cancer, (http://www.incise.org.uk)
The successful candidate will be expected to support complex and challenging HTA projects and lead on presenting, writing of research publications. They will be supported and encouraged to develop and formulate their own research grant proposals.
Candidates should have a strong background in quantitative data analysis, ideally with experience in cost-effectiveness model development for economic evaluations.
The position is funded on a full-time basis for up to 4 years.
