The next DEAS Research Seminar will take place on Thursday 9th September at 14:00. We will be hearing about the DEAS projects that have been funded within the financial services sector theme.  

Please register in advance for the session at:

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

We are looking for interest in a proposed special sesion on the use of geospatial data in digital transformation

The DEAS Network Plus working with the EPSRC Next Stage Centre, DIGIT Lab, are looking to submit a special session to the American Association of Geographers,  2022 NYC Annual meeting on the topic of ‘the use of geospatial data in digital transformation’. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to: startups, finance, insurance, retail, transportation, mobility and manufacturing. 

If you would be interested in participating in the session, you will need to submit an abstract. Abstracts should be up to 250 words and submitted by 19th October.

Participants must register before submission – early bird registration ends 9th September. 

The American Association of Geographers (AAG) 2022 NYC meeting takes place 25th March – 1st April 2022 and will feature more than 6,000 presentations, posters, workshops, and field trips by leading scholars, experts, and researchers who are interested in the advancement of geography. The event will be blended, and a virtual registration fee is available. More information about AAG 2022 can be found at: http://www.aag.org/cs/aag2022nyc.
