The Observatory of Anthropology of Urban Conflict (OACU), is a group of researchers and activists dedicated to critical analysis and inquiry in the study of the city and especially one of its constituent elements, the conflict. Comprised of researchers and professionals independent or belonging to various international research centres, the group's main challenge is to activate and promote the study of the city interdisciplinary by employing different perspectives from anthropology, sociology, architecture, urban planning, human geography, criminology, etc.
