Faculty: Dr Brooke Levis, Dr Melanie Holden, Professor Richard Riley, Dr Joie Ensor, Prof Danielle van der Windt & Dr Miriam Hattle
Course description:
This 2-day workshop will use a combination of talks, interactive activities, external speakers, and ‘meet the expert sessions’ to improve your knowledge and skills in the design and practical delivery of IPD meta-analysis projects. It will cover the steps involved and help you decide whether an IPD meta-analysis project is likely to be worth the investment. Whilst examples will focus on clinical trials, the course will also be relevant for other types of IPD meta-analysis projects.
This workshop is intended for a broad audience, including: healthcare researchers; statisticians and non-statisticians; study managers and data managers; funders; journal editors; and clinicians or other staff involved in the funding, delivery, appraisal, and/or interpretation of IPD meta-analyses in healthcare.
Registration for this course is £299 for students, £399 for public sector and £499 for private sector.
