Dear experts,
I am working on a new analysis and I’m not sure if I am setting up my model correctly.
I am using a Flexible Factorial ANOVA design with three factors:
- subjects (n=x),
- group (g1, g2, g3),
- gender (M, F).
- condition: for each subject, I am pointing to the first-level condition1 and condition2 (within subject factor)
I’m having doubts about the design matrix specification.
Shall we create the column of:
the drug (3)
the gender (2),
the condition (2),
and in addition, shall we insert directly the interaction of the 3 factors “drug x Gender x Condition” (12 columns)?
Or insert first the columns for the 2 ways interactions of
Drug x Condition (6)
Gender x Condition (4)
And also the 3 factors “drug x Gender x Condition” (12 columns)?
Best regards,
João Simões
