The Institute of Psychiatry, University of São Paulo – USP, Brazil, is seeking a postdoctoral fellow for Neuroimaging and Psychiatry. The project is intitled “Investigation of Neuroimaging assessments and Current flow modeling as Target Engagement and Predictor biomarkers of Convulsive Therapies”.
The main objective is to investigate neuroimaging predictors for clinical efficacy of different neuromodulation techniques.
The principal investigator is Prof. Andre Russowsky Brunoni (https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=sJEXDSQAAAAJ&hl=en)
The qualified candidate should have strong skills and background in the following areas:
- Neuroimaging data analysis - volumetry, DTI, functional MRI, electric field modeling (at least 2 of these techniques)
- Working knowledge of softwares as FreeSurfer, FSL, SPM (required)
- Working knowledge of softwares as Python and R (required)
- Experience in mental health (desirable)
Scholarship: The São Paulo Research Foundation BR$7373/monthly + 10% Technical Reserve.
