Colleagues – and their students – with an interest in postcolonial literatures and intercultural discourse are warmly invited to the final talk in the virtual series with writers as part of the project ‘Narrating Africa’ at the German Literature Archive in Marbach, Germany, and the launch of #StepThree with the project’s partners in Namibia. Plus special guest Lisa Tuyala.

The next panel is ‘Lesen & Schreiben über Afrika heute’ on Friday, 18 June at 6:30pm (CEST), when Prof. Annette Bühler-Dietrich (University of Stuttgart) will be in conversation with journalist and writer Jackie Thomae and literature critic and writer Ijoma Mangold.

The conversation will take place in German and the launch of #StepThree will take place in English, both will be recorded. More information and the Zoom link for the event is available here: https://www.dla-marbach.de/presse/presse-details/news/pm-30-2021/?no_cache=1&tx_news_pi1%5Bcontroller%5D=News&tx_news_pi1%5Baction%5D=detail&cHash=6036022650e062495146918657dfce70

The series is a collaboration with the University of Namibia and Prof. Annette Bühler-Dietrich (University of Stuttgart) and the project is funded by the Ministry for Science, Research and Art, Baden-Württemberg. To find out more about the project and its exhibition, as well as other events in the virtual series, past and future, visit: https://www.literatursehen.com/projekt/narrating-africa/

With best wishes,
Madeleine Brook
