You are warmly invited to the SIG Developing, Teaching and Testing Academic Listeners next online ‘praxis’ workshop. This will take place on Friday 16th July (16:00-17:00 UK time) via Zoom. More details and a registration link can be found below. Please note that due to the nature of the activity, this praxis workshop will not be recorded. Only those who are intending to attend the event should register and the task for the event will be sent to you in advance.

This praxis workshop will be a forum for sharing ideas for developing listening tasks for teaching. If you have registered for the event, a task will be sent to you by Friday 2nd July. This means that you will have 2 weeks to consider it before the event on the 16th July. This will involve you being provided with a recording and being asked to consider what different listening tasks could be developed around this. During the praxis workshop, we will share our ideas for listening tasks related to this specific text.
