Hello again and apologies for cross-posting!
As you might have seen, the Digital Learning Network (DLNET)<http://digitallearningnetwork.net/> runs a regular Twitter live chat, and it is back again on Friday 4 June, at 1.00pm; see the hashtag #DLNETChat<https://twitter.com/search?f=tweets&vertical=default&q=%23DLNETChat&src=tyah>.
This time we are examining moving from digital to in-person learning in cultural venues, and the scope for long-term hybrid models of engagement So if you have a question, a suggestion, a case-study, a query or you are just interested to find out more, please join us on Friday.
We have prepared a few items to get you thinking in advance of Friday...
Twitter thread: https://twitter.com/DLNET/status/1400385926828904450
Twitter poll (part of the thread): https://twitter.com/DLNET/status/1400385931052556295
Blog post (mentioned in the thread): https://www.digitallearningnetwork.net/news-blog/next-dlnet-chat-towards-a-hybrid-engagement-offer/
Please do have a look, and let us know what you think.
On the day, some of the discussions might go along these lines:
* What are the expectations of organisations going forward? Return to previous engagement formats (in a Covid-safe way) AND continue digital work, or do one thing or the other?
* What data or insights do organisations rely on to ensure they are listening to audience needs?
* How are sparse resources allocated, what are priorities and what might need to be cut?
* How can both onsite and online engagement be seen as 'business as usual'?
* How have team dynamics shifted with the move online? Will they have to shift again now?
I am aware that the situation and regulations differ around the UK, and these discussions may elicit a range of views depending on circumstances where you are.
We would love to hear from anybody about their experience, as well as anybody who has a question - although please remember that we definitely can't promise to know any answers.
Remember to use the hashtag #DLNETChat<https://twitter.com/search?f=tweets&vertical=default&q=%23DLNETChat&src=tyah> and to keep an eye on the @DLNET<https://twitter.com/DLNET> Twitter account for more details...
Also, if anybody has any suggestions of topics or questions for future Twitter live chats, please get in touch...
With best wishes,
Stuart
