Dear Eye-movement community,
we are delighted to inform you that we are organizing a Special Issue "on Eye Tracking in Human-Computer Interaction".
This Special Issue will be published in Vision (https://www.mdpi.com/journal/vision), an international, scientific, peer-reviewed, open access journal on vision published quarterly online by MDPI.
The dealine is **July 31, 2021**
Along with recent technological advances, such as smart glasses, wearables, natural human-computer interaction (HCI) interfaces, advanced driver assistance systems, personal digital assistants,
mobile assistance and diagnostic systems, as well as in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, completely new forms of personalized, anticipative and intuitive HCIs are emerging.
We are particularly interested in papers that propose the application of eye tracking, alone as well as in combination with other methods (like sensory or language), within this broad field.
Such papers can be explorative, empirical, meta-analytic or technical. Papers that seek to bridge the gap between theoretical and applied aspects, as well as papers that study human action and
perception behavior and its integration in natural and intuitive forms of HCI, will be especially welcome.
Potential topics include but are not limited to:
- Applications of Eye Movements in HCI
- Eye Movements for Personalized HCI
- Eye Movements in AR/VR in Interactive HCI Simulations
- Cultural and Psychological Aspects of Eye Movements in HCI
- Technical and Evaluation Aspects
For more information as well as more potential topics, feel free to visit the special issue web-page:

As Guest Editors, we cordially invite you to submit a manuscript for consideration and possible publication in this special issue.
All papers will be peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website.
Submitted papers should not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
Feel also free to contact the guest-editors for more information.
Looking forward to receive your contributions,
