Dear SPM (DCM) experts
I tried to calculate the effective connectivity between some nodes within the specific network using the spectral DCM for the resting-tate fMRI data.
I used the two datasets. One dataset is a single-band fMRI dataset, and the other is the multiband fMRI dataset whose TR is almost
1/3 of that of the single-band fMRI dataset.
Then I found the effective connectivity patterns are different between the two datasets although I adopted the same nodes.
Further I downsampled the multiband fMRI data and created a one-third downsampled dataset whose TR is almost the same as that of the single-band dataset. Then I again calculated the effective connectivity parameters using the downsampled dataset. Then I found the effective connectivity pattern from the downsampled data is quite similar to that from the single-band dataset.
But I am not sure how to interpret this difference of these effective connectivity patterns between the single-band dataset and the multiband dataset. Could anyone give me any comment about this issue?
Thank you for your help.
