Dear Julian,
Your script seems to be a modified version of a rather outdated script.
For example, you would now use spm_file and not editfilenames.
If you are running SPM on Windows, shouldn't you defile data_path as:
data_path =
'C:\Users\julal\OneDrive\Dokumente\UCL\Thesis\Data\ParticipantData';
I am also surprised that your NIfTI files use extension .hdr/.img
instead of .nii.
