Our seminar Inequalities experienced by people with learning disabilities - and how the COVID-19 pandemic has worsened them may be of interest.
Speaker: Professor Christopher Hatton, Department of Social Care and Social Work, Manchester Metropolitan University
June 10th, 1-2.15pm
This seminar will explore the social, economic and health inequalities experienced by people with learning disabilities in the UK, and how the COVID-19 pandemic has made these inequalities worse. This overview will include information on education, social care and health services, health inequalities (including mortality) before and during COVID-19, and interim findings from an ongoing UK research project about the experiences of people with learning disabilities through the pandemic.
Online via Zoom. Please contact Doria Pilling: [log in to unmask] for a link to the seminar.
