Dear cryo-EM community,
Co-chairs Peijun Zhang and I would like to invite abstracts for talks for an upcoming session on cryo-EM software at the annual meeting of the ACA (American Crystallographic Association). This is an excellent opportunity to highlight your latest and greatest image-processing methods and tools, including late-breaking results that may not have been presented at other recent cryo-EM venues.
Please note, the deadline is only a few days away (May 23), so don’t delay!
The (virtual) session will be at:
Monday, 8/2/2021 @ 12-3 PM EDT
There will be room for up to 8 speakers (15-20 minute talk time, ~5 minute question period)
If you would like to be considered, please submit your abstract using the following link:
https://www.acameeting.com/call-for-papers-2021
(First click on the “register” icon, followed by the “submit” icon)
Be sure to specify the "Cryo-EM software" session
Please note there may be funds available to wave the registration fee if there is need.
Thanks and cheers,
Peijun and Chuck
Session summary: Cryo-EM software
This session will highlight recent developments in cryo-EM software for image processing and structure analysis, including topics such as: on-the-fly processing pipelines; higher resolution single-particle and tomographic structure determination; heterogeneity analysis; 3D reconstruction in situ; molecular modeling from density maps; and micro-electron diffraction for crystallographic structure determination.
