Global Urban Transformations is a new book series that brings a fresh perspective to the field of interdisciplinary urban studies. Books in the series are international, working within a global frame of reference, whether comparatively or through focused cases demonstrating transnational processes.
The series is informed by the past but future oriented, addressing the challenges faced by emergent cities of the 21st century. The series recognizes the value of different scales of analysis, commissioning work that focuses on geographies that range from trends in rapidly expanding megacity regions to the dynamics of neighbourhood change.
Series editors: Michael Keith and Susan Parnell
Books in the series are published Open Access by Manchester University Press
