Call for Papers/Cases: Book " Social Entrepreneurship as a Solution to Global Social and Environmental Challenges"
This timely publication showcases research, feasibility studies, case studies and projects which aim to demonstrate how social entrepreneurship can be a tool/solution to social and environmental challenges globally. Practitioners and expert contributors from industry, government and academia are now invited to submit expressions of interest to contribute to this key publication, ensuring that a variety of themes and perspectives are captured on the "Social Entrepreneurship as a Solution to Global Social and Environmental Challenges book ", making it a vital information source to stakeholders in the global social entrepreneurship community.
Table of contents: We plan to assemble interdisciplinary contributions covering wide-ranging case studies, reviews, outputs of research/studies, etc that will provide state-of-the-art information on how social entrepreneurship is helping global social and environmental challenges through various innovative solutions in different topics. The content to be included in the book will comprise 20 to 30 articles/cases covering, but not limited to the following main topics:
• Public health
• Ecosystems Health
• Food Insecurity
• Unemployment
• Economic Disparities
• Educational Systems
• Climate Change
• Gender Inequality
• Racial Injustice
The book will be published by Springer, one of the top 5 scientific publishers, as part of the award-winning World Sustainability Series http://www.springer.com/series/13384, which is the leading peer review book series on matters related to sustainable development. Publications in the book series officially count for promotion and tenure purposes, and over 2.000 authors have had the opportunity to promote and disseminate their work as part of this well-established and high impact book series.
Expressions of interest to contribute to the book, consisting of a 300 words abstract with all contact details from the authors, should be sent to: [log in to unmask] , preferably by 30th May, 2021. Papers should be in English, up to 6.000 words including references, written in Times Roman 12 and single-spaced. The first draft of the chapter is to reach the editors by August 30th, 2021.
