We are looking for a dynamic Library and evidence support collections specialist to implement the collections development policy that supports the library’s e-first strategy; ensuring that all services are member-led, have equality of access and are cost effective and sustainable. This will include oversight of both electronic and print collections to ensure the effective delivery and implementation of user-focused, high quality information services to support the needs of the BMA and its members.
To succeed in this role you will need:
Experience of managing collections, ideally in a health or academic environment.
Commitment to ensuring equality of access for all of the BMA’s members and the ability to build strong professional relationships, networks and to promote collections and services innovatively.
Excellent communication skills and outstanding interpersonal skills.
