Hi Everyone

EPSRC have launched a survey to help prepare their NetworkPlus call later this year which will fund 5 centres addressing each of their 5 priority research areas. They have asked us to share link to the survey to help them evaluate the scheme. You can find the survey at https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/FV4G6R/ We encourage you to help them and fill in the survey. The survey will be closing on Friday 30th April.

We will be holding a research seminar for the Transport and Mobility Sectors to present their research on April 23rd at 14.00.

You can register in advance for this meeting at:

https://eur03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Funiversityofexeter.zoom.us%2Fmeeting%2Fregister%2FtJIqcu2sqTIvHtIriJaXaupjihILCLWvrPc4&data=04%7C01%7CP.J.Godsiff%40exeter.ac.uk%7C16e0c5db0a014fe581b508d8e56e95fc%7C912a5d77fb984eeeaf321334d8f04a53%7C0%7C0%7C637511610416129886%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C1000&sdata=RrdPXl0UMHhh3Axtyk1NPoUYb2zr43pDVEPcx8M%2Fcno%3D&reserved=0

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

The Open call for proposals is well, still open; see – www.deas.ac.uk

Details of the DEAS special session at CADE - Delivering DEAS outside Manufacturing - are available at https://warwick.ac.uk/fac/sci/wmg/mediacentre/wmgevents/cade2021/tracks/

CADE (Competitive Advantage in the Digital Economy) 2021 will be an exclusively online two-day event, bringing together academics and practitioners to discuss the challenges of the digital economy and present the latest cutting edge research.

A reminder about the HICCS conference: Zena and I are helping co chair a DEAS inspired mini-track at HICCS 2022. The Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS) has been running for over 50 years and welcomes contributions from a wide range of disciplines relevant to systems science, not just IS and CS The mini-track title is: Co-creating value in the Circular Economy with financial services. Our minitrack will focus on the coming together of the 3 themes of digital transformation, servitisation and the Circular Economy (CE) and their impact on and relevance to the financial services sector.

We encourage researchers and practitioners in the fields of service science, finance, and the CE to address how digital transformation can help financial service providers facilitate and/or deliver servitisation business models. We welcome research papers, case studies, or practitioner reports related to development in all areas that explore the intersection of service science and CE within financial services.

The deadline for paper submission is June 15, 2021 | 11:59 pm HST: Paper Submission Deadline

Please feel free to share the information about the open call and conferences with colleagues who may be interested.

Stay safe

Phil Godsiff, Network Co-ordinator
