Caribbean Film Forum presents its first virtual event: Screening Caribbean Cinema: A Conversation with Film Festival Directors, on Wednesday 3 March at 6pm UTC. This event will be held in Spanish.





Dunja Fehimović (Newcastle University) and Mary Leonard (University of Puerto Rico - Mayagüez) will have the pleasure of talking to Diana Vargas (Havana Film Festival New York - HFFNY), Marángeli Mejia-Rabell (Philadelphia Latino Film Festival - PHLAFF), and Harold Leonard (Festival de Cine Europeo de Puerto Rico, Competencia para Cineastas Puertorriqueños) about the role of film festivals in the ecosystem of Caribbean cinema and the challenges of festival organising in times of Covid-19. We will be joined by film festival scholar and expert, Professor Tamara Falicov (University of Kansas).
